MICHIGAN BREWING COMPANY ADDS MEIJER TO RETAIL BEER SALES
Webberville, MI - March 19, 2008
Meijer, the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based retailer that
operates 181 super centers throughout Michigan, Indiana,
Illinois, Ohio and Kentucky has contracted to sell Michigan
Brewing Company beers. MBC beers, brewed and bottled at the
company’s Webberville, Michigan, will begin to hit Meijer
shelves in the latter half of 2008.
“This is a great “Michigan Made” partnership for both of our
companies,” said MBC owner and President Bobby Mason. “From day
one of this venture, we have been committed to local
relationships and business connections, and to the highest
standards of quality. When you say the name Meijer in the
Midwest, you hit both those commitments. We’re extremely proud
to be associated with the Meijer name.”
