Governor Jennifer Granholm signed Michigan’s new smoking ban at our downtown Lansing location on Friday, December 18^th.

Governor Granholm used the MBC Pub location as an example of success operating a smoke free restaurant. She said the Michigan Brewing Company’s experience with going smoke-free shows that "you can make a go of it and be very successful, and be healthy as well."
