History

The Pub was added to the brewery
when it opened in 1996 and was
known as the Taproom.
The Taproom originally opened with
just 4 beers on tap with a goal
of having up to 12. Within
the first two years, the beer
list was expanded to 12 taps.
Several years into the pub
operations, it became apparent
that many pub goers wanted more
than peanuts to go with their
beer. In 2003, MBC added
food to the menu. Wanting
to maintain the home type feel
of the pub, MBC added home
cooked soups and sandwiches to
the menu. You won't find
pre-made frozen soups in our
fridge. From the beginning, MBC has prided itself on the
home cooking served up in our
pub.
The log front of the pub
inspired the new round logo.
Check it out the next time you
buy a six pack. You'll see
that the logs of the building
appear on the round background
of the logo. |

This place was a what?
Prior to our purchase of the
building, it served as a
maintenance garage for big rigs.
It's position behind the gas
station made it the perfect spot
for a garage.
