Michigan Brewing Company, of Webberville, Michigan, is looking forward to more distribution coverage of Southeast Michigan in 2010 and beyond. To gain better coverage for Southeast Michigan, Michigan Brewing Company has signed on with O&W Inc. of Ypsilanti and Eastown Distributors of Highland Park.
Michigan Brewing Company, producers of Michigan Brewing Company Beer and Celis Beer, started as a small brewery and now operates out of a 76,000 sq.ft. facility in Webberville. The new distribution coverage will make these fine craft beers available throughout Detroit and the surrounding suburbs. “We’re really excited about the new coverage. We’ve needed this for quite some time”, says owner, Bobby Mason.
The new distribution coverage now puts MBC beers in up to 175 on-premise accounts and 125 off-premise accounts with Eastown Distributors. Additionally, O&W Inc. has 949 on-premise and 724 off-premise accounts where MBC beer may be sold. The near 2000 possible additional points of sale should spark even more growth for the expanding company.
Michigan Brewing Company, with its on-site pub and patio dining in Webberville, continues its current history of growth and expansion. In the past two years, MBC has added distillation and wine production to their operations at the brewery and now offer spirits and wine in the pub. In 2009 Michigan Brewing Company opened its first MBC Authentic Michigan Pub in downtown Lansing and currently has plans to open others around the state.
